What’s My Dosha and What Does It Mean?

This is the first in a series of Take Control of Your Health workshops designed to give you a roadmap to change your diet and lifestyle habits for better health.  It is based on Ayurveda, translated as “knowledge of life”, a medical science dating back more than 5,000 years.  Ayurveda’s purpose is to heal and maintain the quality and longevity of life, honoring the whole person and our uniqueness.  Join us as we share the first level of this medical system, practical lifestyle changes, and discover your own path to health, well-being and happiness.  This information complements the Ayurvedic Seasonal Reset and private ayurvedic consultations. 

In this first workshop you will learn the concept of constitution (doshas), how to recognize it in yourself and the environment, and learn the signs of balance and imbalance.  Find out your current unique combination of doshas and learn to eat according to your body type for optimal health.  Discover how the time of day we eat, frequency of meals and combinations of foods matter.  You will receive a food chart corresponding to your unique dosha type.
